heavy metal {160/365}

Day 4 of Boot Camp and the prompt for today is “Heavy Metal“.

This one totally stumped me.  A million ideas, but nothing that was sticking and omg some of my ideas were downright NOT do-able.

Who knew my Husband would protest to barb wire wrapped around his forearm?

What?

Pansy.

I had other ideas …

  • some kind of take on the iPod silhouette, maybe daughter with headphones?  maybe, but she’s uncooperative. hmmmmm … next!
  • slap the iPod on the table and maybe put some headphones beside it? nah
  • Hey! take a pic of my ac/dc cover!  … omg snorefest Janice …
  • metal, metal, metal … hmmmm …
  • storm drain? no, it’s raining
  • tow truck lift thingy?  NO! it’s raining.
  • I could go down to the train station, maybe shoot the train wheels and stuff …
  • or hey!  what about the car lot? there’s a nice corvette there!
  • Airport!  Airplanes!
  • Hello?  It’s r.a.i.n.i.n.g. (and the airport is far, dork)
  • heavy metal chains … hmmm…
  • ooooh wrap a chain around the husband!!!  yeah, we don’t have any heavy chains …
  • it would be cool if I could wrap one around his arm, be all lift-y like … y’know … heavy?
  • why don’t I just wrap the iPod cord around his arm?

hmmmmmm ….

160/365

Heavy Metal … get it?  huh?  music?  heavy?

How ’bout this?

alternate - Heavy Metal, 160/365

No?

c’mon!

Scattered, I tell ya.  My thought processes make me giggle sometimes.

I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying Boot Camp.  I may need to stalk Maegan when we’re done and bother her for daily word prompts.  How am I supposed to go back to wondering around aimlessly, camera in hand?  How?

Much thanks to my Husband for indulging my “c’mere, I need some muscle” demands even though he felt like a doofus standing outside like that, flexing and wearing my shirt.

No, that’s not my shirt.  Don’t be silly.

    a) love the stream of thought. Too funny.
    b) love that your husband participated
    c) love that you came up with something so cool and unique

I on the other hand took the lame way out because I just couldn’t think of ANYTHING creative to write about so instead wrote about why I couldn’t think of anything to write about. yep. Lame.

I’m loving this CBC too… glad I found you!

You are going to get an A+++ in this class!!! You just keep getting more creative and your photography skills are over the top! Love the way you posted your thought process too. I wish that I had that many ideas, I only had 2 and tried them both and ended up not very happy with either. I can’t wait to see what your going to have for us tomorrow, but I know it’s going to be good!

Ohmystars. You are hilarious. I love your blog! How did I never know you before boot camp?
    And that picture? Priceless.
    That man has some guns. I don’t think I’d be calling him a pansy. {but I certainly laughed out loud when you did!}
