one month! {31/365}

Well holy crap. I’ve reached the end of the month and I’m still here! Go me! And ‘go you!’ to all my fellow 365’ers. I’ve been loving everything about this project (even if it HAS taken over my poor blog) including the shots you guys have been taking.

Not much phototakin’ going on around here today though. I’ve been working on the design portion of this place, finished a few little jobs for others, and mostly got caught up in this …

love love love Marian Keyes.

I switched this over to black and white because the cover of this awesomely written book is equally awesomely ugly.  Seriously!  I’m pretty big on covers when I’m searching out a new read.  The cover is what catches your eye, and this one most definitely did NOT catch my eye.  It’s shiny gold.  Yes, gold.   And that star is pink.  Yes, pink.  And the lettering is … green.  omg.

Nevermind, I’ll show you … look!  ewwwwww!

It’s a good thing Marian’s name is so big, or I might’ve passed this over.  The story is pure awesome so off I go to read some more.

Happy one month!  Eleven more to go :)

    Ah, yeah, the b&w is much easier on the eyes, isn’t it! Lovely shot!

    (and thanks for letting me know the image wasn’t showing on my blog, all fixed now!)

    ooh yes! The B&W is much nicer. Why would anyone produce a book (or anything) with those colours together?!
