It’s December, 52’rs! December! and you know what that means. Here comes the holidays! This month, we’ll be getting our festive on here at focus52.

Now I know that we’re a mixed bunch around here, so no matter what your holiday traditions, religious beliefs, etc., you’ll be able to join in with the prompts and tailor them to your liking. And if by chance you do not celebrate the holidays at all, in any form, I’m certain you can still find something or someone to photograph that would fit the prompts. Get creative!

So let’s get to it! Our week forty-nine prompt for focus52 is …

One of the best parts of Christmas for me is putting up the Christmas tree. I put ours up yesterday and spent the better part of the day and night decorating (which is why this post is a little late! ooops!) and it’s looking pretty festive in my house. Do you decorate for the holidays? This week, photograph what you’ve done or what you’ve seen elsewhere.

Whatever you decide to do for our week forty-nine, follow the prompt or not, please come back here and share your work with us when you’re done (weeks run Sunday to Saturday, don’t forget!). Links must be to the direct URL of your actual work, not just to the site it’s posted in, and may be a link to your blog post or to your flickr photo (again, the actual photo, not your entire flickr stream). It’s a fact that those who link up early, get the most interaction on their work, so get the photos in!  Also, please don’t link and run – try to find some time to visit at least a few of your fellow 52’ers.
