Holy hell, we’re heading into September. How did that happen?

I, for one, refuse to say goodbye to Summer the way absolutely everybody around me has been doing. I’ve even heard talk of (gasp) Christmas!

Y’all have to cut that out. I pretty much missed Summer this year, and my Summer will NOT end until sometime around October. Maybe Halloween. I haven’t decided yet :p

Anywho … this week’s prompt.

A little while back we had a free-for-all week. I wrote,

Instead of following a prompt, I want you to go out and shoot whatever attracts your eye. I want you to write about whatever strikes your fancy. I want you to draw whatever you see in your mind’s eye.

Take a break from the weekly prompts and just go out and do your thing. Time to clear out the cobwebs, take a deep breath and follow your own prompt. This week? It’s a free for all.

Embrace your creativity and the reasons you started this project to begin with.

This week, we’re doing it again.

Maybe there’s a project you’ve been wanting to try. Maybe you just want or need a break. Maybe you’ve seen something that keeps catching your eye and you think “damn, I have to go back and shoot that” (I have a long list of those).
