07 Jan focus52 link up! January 1 to 8

Before we kick-off the very first week ever of focus52, I really want to thank each and every one of you for the overwhelming response you’ve had for this idea. The enthusiasm I’m seeing is absolutely amazing and so much more than I had anticipated. Everybody is pumped and ready to go and I have to tell you, I’ve had quite a few moments this week when I’ve just sat back in awe, and smiled.  So, thank you. You guys are already awesome, right out of the gate. My heart is smiling :)

Now let’s do this!

Focus52 is a 52 week long creative project meant to push and strengthen your creativity in whichever medium you choose. The project is meant to be fun and stress-free, while at the same time encouraging you to strengthen your abilities and sharpen your skills simply by making the commitment to spend a bit of time at least one day each week with your creative self.

Link up your work here and in the flickr group every weekend and spend some time browsing the work of others. Your project can be as public or as private as you want it to be, there’s no requirement to link your work, but it’s been my experience that sharing what you do and browsing the work of others can only add to your knowledge and growth. And there is absolutely no replacement for the encouragement and support of others.

And on that note, consider focus52 officially…

EDIT:  Unfortunately, the link list for this post had to be removed due to numerous database errors on the part of LinkyTools. Although it was promised that links would remain, as you can see, they most definitely did not. Even after numerous (friendly!) emails to the owner, Brent Riggs, the issue was not corrected.  I’m sad that our member links for this post have been lost.
