focus52|2012 {week fifty-one} december 16 to 22

Welcome to week fifty-one! Our second to last week here, and hey … NINE days to Christmas!!! Are you ready? If you’re anything like me, you still have a ton a few items to scratch off of your shopping list.

Which brings me directly to our prompt for this week,

Presents under the tree, wrappings, ribbons … capture it! Play around with perspective and composition and have a bit of fun. Maybe you photograph the whole present, or maybe the dainty curl of ribbon on top. Often, just a glimpse creates a perfect photograph, leaving the rest to the viewer’s imagination.

No matter what you decide to do for our week fifty-one, please come back here and share your work with us when you’re done (weeks run Sunday to Saturday, don’t forget!). Links must be to the direct URL of your actual work, not just to the site it’s posted in, and may be a link to your blog post or to your flickr photo (again, the actual photo, not your entire flickr stream). It’s a fact that those who link up early, get the most interaction on their work, so get the photos in!  Also, please don’t link and run – try to find some time to visit at least a few of your fellow 52’ers. That’s half the fun!  And don’t forget the focus52 flickr pool.

Enjoy your week, 52’rs. I know it’s been a trying time.

Another Festivus year so our my theme will be either of the Feats of Strength or Airing of Grievances. Or the grocery bags for the Festivus meal! Calvin and Hobbes are suggesting the Festivus Pole!

one of my favorite songs truly. oh what to do with this one as my clowns are already trolling around the tree inspecting and shaking and molesting…er, admiring the pretty wrapped packages…we shall see.
