hazy dayz of summer {28/52}

So many fun things to shoot during the summer months, but I have the most fun playing with hazy summer evening light. Always so gorgeous, it can make the most ordinary of objects, beautiful.

sunlight sparkle

Yes, even weeds. Especially weeds :)

And you just can’t beat a summertime sunset…

suburban sunset

The view from my bedroom window. When I first bought this house, there were miles of fields and trees behind me. *sigh*

That’s about all I’m sharing this week, but it has been a busy week. I had an oncology checkup on Monday that had me sitting on pins and needles but I came through with flying colors (yay!), and I had my first ever salon appointment since all of this nonsense started (double yay!) and I’m now a sorta redhead. LOL! Auburn-ish, I suppose.

Milestones. I’ll take ’em.

    Beautiful shots, Jan. You certainly utilized the light in the first one and took advantage of the colors in the second one. Happy to hear you were given a clean bill of health. Take care.

    Both shots are wonderful, but I love the first one the most. Finding the beauty and magic in weeds is awfully darn cool!
