focus52 november 20 to november 26

If there’s one thing that this year has brought home to me, more so than ever before, it is the need to be thankful for every moment we have.

Cherish every single moment, every memory, every smile from a loved one … remember to stand still and breathe it all in.

Our focus52 prompt for this week is …

* thankful *

(click to define)

It’s easy to take things in our lives for granted. We’re all guilty of it at one point or another. This week, I challenge you to document the moments/people/things you are thankful for in your life and share them with us.

It seems that the need to give thanks abounds in the month of November. Feel free to visit the links below for more photo inspiration and challenges this month.

If you know of any I’ve left out, please let us all know in the comments!

Something to note – I know of a few people who have based their 365 projects on the theme of gratitude. Something to think about, perhaps? The New Year is just around the corner. I can’t think of a better subject to document (and perhaps, on some days, a more challenging one?).

As always, our prompt can be interpreted in whichever way you like, and in whatever medium you choose, and it’s entirely up to you whether or not you use it. But with everything going on, why wouldn’t you? (yeah, I’m going there – guilt you into it). Also, please don’t feel that you have to use the prompt in order to come back and share on the weekend – we just want to see what you’ve been up to (but again, but why wouldn’t you want to? heh).

The linkup for last week’s work closes Monday evening so there’s still time to link up your work here on the site and in the flickr pool, if you haven’t yet.

Enjoy your week! And a big HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of my American friends!
