25 Sep flight [38/52]

Do you know that you absolutely can NOT find a kite anywhere in this town at this time of year?

Nope. No kites.

That’s okay. Always a next time :)

There are so many birds in my photostream, I wanted to try something a little different. I thought of things flying, not necessarily in flight. That made things a little easier.

Kinda.

Anyways … I spotted this …

Minimal. Whimsical.

I like it!

and this …

Minimal, but quite boring lonely actually, until I added some fun textures. Nothing special, but they both appeal to me.

Still, even though I had found something “flying”, I was still thinking I was being pretty lamesauce with the prompt.

So I decided to catch some bubbles.

OMG.

Bubbles are HARD!!!

Seriously.

Out of 999,999 photos (felt that way) this is the only one that turned out even remotely half-decent.

The jury is still out on the ‘half-decent’ part. yeesh.

But it was fun.

And quite the lesson in focusing on the fly, I have to say.

You think kids move quickly? Try bubbles caught in the wind.

Schizoid little suckers.

(PS – at the time I was posting this, a huge flock of geese flew over my house in a perfect V formation. Yep. Because that’s how things roll around here)
