focus52 link up! January 30 to February 5

With half of North America being hit with amazing amounts of snow this week, I’m thinking that this week should have been the week for a ‘cold’ prompt, no?

Is everybody all present and accounted for?

Nobody buried under a snowbank somewhere?

(it happens! *cough*)

Alright then, let’s see what you’ve been up to :)

Our (optional) prompt for this week is “framed”. Link up your work below! (links must be to the URL of your actual work, not just to the site it’s posted in). Please don’t link and run – try to find some time to visit at least a few of your fellow 52’ers.

And don’t forget to add your work to the flickr pool :)

EDIT:  Unfortunately, the link list for this post had to be removed due to numerous database errors on the part of LinkyTools. Although it was promised that links would remain, as you can see, they most definitely did not. Even after numerous (friendly!) emails to the owner, Brent Riggs, the issue was not corrected.  I’m sad that our member links for this post have been lost.

I have since moved the focus52 linking service to InLinkz and couldn’t be happier with the friendly customer service and ease of use. If you’re looking for a linking tool, I highly recommend them

I have one I really wanted to use here but my posts in Flickr were messed up so I can’t add it until next week. Oh well, this is a fun one too! We produced Death Takes A Holiday and the ice storm cut it short by two performances. The set comes down Monday. The costumes get cleaned & put away. Photos keep live theatre living!

I don’t know what you mean, Elizabeth? Why can’t you use it?
Did you do a blog post about it? Because you can totally hook that up here.

Oh! I didn’t think about that. I was just thinking about the five per week on Flickr. Yes, I did a blog post with a bunch of shots, the one I was wanting to use included. Oh well. I believe in the serendipity of the universe, so I’ll leave the one I used up for this week’s participation. But now I have more knowledge if it happens again! Thanks Janice!

In Florida this weekend, but frantically looking for something that meets the theme. Right now, sitting outside uploading what I’ve taken so far. Don’t be a hater! LOL :)

      BRAT!!!
I’m surprised nobody has done the clichéd framing with the hands in front of your scene, y’know?
      Do that!
      or not.
      brat :p

It was a stretch, but I figured out a way to use my snow pictures – I finally have some!

I think I might be perhaps a day late, but the snow storms kept me from my camera and the picture I really wanted to use for my first post here. But it is finally uploaded and I look forward to the next one! I can honestly say this is going much better than other challenges I have undertaken, and the prompt word is helping nicely with that!

Nope. This link is still open!
It opens Friday afternoons and closes Monday evenings.
Link it up! I just went and had a look, left you a comment.
      Really great start!
