22 May jimmy the lilac {142/365}

If lilacs bloomed all summer, I’d be a happy woman.  Out of the five bushes I have (and one topiary) I’d be hard pressed to choose a favourite.

Meet Jimmy aka Jimmy the Lilac (not to be confused with Jimmy the Greek) …

Jimmy is short for James.  James Macfarlane to be proper (no I haven’t lost it, click the link). He’s a quiet sort and prefers to remain somewhat half-bloomed like this, instead of putting on a full blown show like his friends.  He doesn’t smell much either, totally out of character for a male.

But he’s gorgeous, isn’t he?  Tall too ;)
