mother’s day {129/365}

I had a whole post written up here.

And then I hit delete.

Long story short?  Mother’s Day is hard these days.

But this?  This girl?  She takes all of that away …

Since she was around 5 years old, she’s been able to do that. It used to freak people out when she was younger. Nobody taught her, she just did it.  She’d swing all the way to the end, flip around and head back the other way like it was nothing.  My monkey :)

What? You don’t hang out on train tracks with your kid? :p

Thank you, my girl, for indulging your camera-happy mom and giving me a perfect afternoon. A perfect Mother’s Day.

I love you xoxo

    I have photos of Kaitlyn swinging from the monkey bars the first summer she visited us. The two of them together (then and now) would look great.

    Gah, I love these. You’re so blessed to have a relationship with your daughter like that – and the fabulous photography skills to capture it forever. I especially love number one. Just too sweet.
