perched {101/365}

Day 101.  Wow.  Although yesterday was the banner day, somehow today is the benchmark that is giving me incentive.  I jumped that 100 day hurdle and I’m running full tilt into the next lap.  I feel proud, you know?  Proud that I set this goal for myself and omg I’m sticking to it.

I already see improvement in my photography and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned simply because I’m doing it every day.  Trying out new things, searching the ‘net, browsing through flickr streams.  It’s all contributing to turn this hobby of mine into something I can be proud of.

I can’t wait to see what I’m doing 100 days from now.

Anyways …

I spent a bit of today chasing around this little guy …

101/365

I popped out the screen on my second floor bedroom window and used a 300mm zoom.  I’m sure any neighbours who might’ve seen me were wondering what the hell I was doing.  There were some kids playing basketball down the lane too, and my camera was kind of aimed in that general direction.

I bet I can get some cool shots at the police station.

    Good for you, sticking to your goal! Awesome. Would be nice if I could find something I want to stick to…other than my husbands nether regions. LOL

    This is beautiful! As much as I hate birds, I do like looking at photos of them.
