texture {32/365}

I messed around with textures for a good few hours today.  It’s a problem.  How do you know when you’re done?  Are you EVER really done?

For somebody with mild OCD tendencies and a strong lean towards perfectionism … ummmm … yeah, not good.  Not good at all.

Screw it!  I heart textures :)

It’s not exactly the look I was going for, but I’m okay with it.  I’ve lost track of whatever I’ve done here.  There’s a few different textures, a few curve changes and some noise added, and gawd knows what else.  The lines bother me a bit.  I think I should have taken away a little from the nose and face, and having a look at it now, it appears somebody punched me in the chin.  But … like I said – are you ever done?

So what do you think?  Textures is brand new territory for me and some constructive criticism would be great.

And helpful :)

    What a beautiful photo! I really love textures as well but I haven’t experimented much yet. I think you did a great job on this one, dont’t think I would change it. But after you mentioned the lines then I started thinking that maybe it would look even better without them :)
