16 Jan yes, you deserve a break
I’ve been taking a little computer break recently and let me tell you, it is GLORIOUS.
My day job requires constant use of a computer. My on-the-side design work also requires constant use of the computer, not to mention editing and posting of whatever I may be aiming my lens at on any given day. Constant computer! Throw in facebook, twitter, flickr, blogs, the time-suck that is pinterest … it’s computer time 24/7.
It’s too much!
So, other than my phone and occasionally my iPad when I’m relaxing on the couch watching some TV (I can’t help it – I’m a multi-tasker) I’ve stayed away from my desktop in the evenings.
GLOR-I-OUS.
The iPhone helps me stay on top of my 365 with little effort.
We all need a little computer break from time to time. Sometimes it’s hard to do and often times it’s our own fault – imposing deadlines and crazy quotas on ourselves. When the time you’re spending on-line ceases to be fun and inspirational, and starts to feel more like a stressful workday you need a vacation from, it’s time to step away for a bit.
Really, what are you giving to people if you’re not enjoying what you’re doing?
More importantly, what are you giving to yourself?

I think that was a mix of apps, but definitely Phototoaster is in there.
