A little fun with the Christmas lights. And you can bet you’ll probably see more before the end of the Season.

Charlie Brown Christmas
My little Charlie Brown tree that I managed to find this year before they were all scooped up, dressed up with a couple of textures. I absolutely adore this little tree.

homemade snowglobes
Little homemade snowglobes that I got around to making. My pinterest addiction sometimes comes in handy.

It’s been a trying week for us all, with the devastating news coming out of Connecticut. It’s hard to know what to do, how to continue on in the face of such senseless loss. I find myself wondering what I’m doing, sitting down and taking fluffy photos when families are devastated beyond belief. It’s a tough argument inside my head. Christmas is around the corner and for some, the world has come to a horrendous stop. My heart breaks for them.

I do believe though, that it’s times like this that we absolutely must continue to see the beauty in the world around us, whether it be in fluffy little photos or what have you. As hopeless as it may seem, we need to find that beauty, that hope, that faith, and hold on tight for all we are worth.

If we let go, all will surely be lost.

Wise words, my daughter. And I wholeheartedly agree. It seems more and more that the forces of good in the world are shrinking and the forces of evil are growing and becoming bolder. We all have to do our part to keep goodness alive.

Such a sad and disheartening time.
