I had a little moment of silence as I finished typing this week’s date into the title bar of this post. September 1st? How can the be?!! *sniff*  The last long weekend of the summer happens this weekend but I’m voting for a do-ever. Let’s say we all go back to, oh, around the end of June. Yes?

If only!

Signs of Fall are all around us though. And then my mind wandered and I got to thinking, hmmmmmm …

Everywhere you look, there’s a sign. Signs that mark a position, signs that warn, signs that direct, signs that make you smile … they’re everywhere. I can even think of a few songs off of the top of my head that are all about signs. Sign, sign, everywhere a sign! So go and search out some good ones this week. Maybe it will be a sign marking a favorite place or landmark, maybe your street or the street you grew up on, or maybe something special you see while you’re out and about. There certainly are a lot of possibilities!

Whatever you decide to do this week, follow the prompt or no, come back here and share when you’re done (weeks run Sunday to Saturday, don’t forget!). Links must be to the direct URL of your actual work, not just to the site it’s posted in, and may be a link to your blog post or to your flickr photo (again, the actual photo, not your entire flickr stream). Also, please don’t link and run – try to find some time to visit at least a few of your fellow 52’ers. That’s half the fun! It’s a fact that those who link up early, get the most interaction on their work. Truth.

And don’t forget the flickr pool.

Enjoy the upcoming long weekend (if you have one!) and get your photos in early!
