connect {198/365}

The Sunday Creative prompt for this week (today being the last day – go me) is/was ‘connect’.

I really wanted a picture of daughter and I.  Maybe a portrait type style, maybe just our hands together.  I dunno.  Something!  As each year passes, the special moments with her grow few and far between.  It’s true what they say, that it goes by oh so fast.

She was six just yesterday.

Sixteen next year.

*sigh*

Anyways … no mother daughter shot.  I haven’t seen her for more than a half hour at a time this week.

And the fact that I couldn’t manage to do that, to get a shot of the both of us under the prompt of ‘connect’, well … that about says it all, doesn’t it?

*sighsighsigh*

Today being the last day, I went and hung out under some hydro wires and waited for some birds.

(and really, who the hell says stuff like that? heh)

And waited.

And waited …

Damn birds.

One.  One little bird.  ha!

Here’s to better luck this week.

The next Sunday Creative prompt will be up and posted in about … oh … 24 minutes.

Bring it. :p

    In under the deadline! Great shot – for some reason I’ve been drawn to power lines lately, something about the lines against the sky
